Biography
Attorney Jonathan M. Lusk has represented some of the highest profile divorce clients in Alabama, including CEOs, NFL football players, physicians (including surgeons, obstetricians, cardiologists, oncologists, and radiologists), prominent commercial artists, and owners of businesses valued in the hundreds of millions.
With his main office located in the high tech and ever-expanding Huntsville metro area, Mr. Lusk also frequently represents engineers, defense contractors, U.S. government employees, IT specialists, FBI employees, and military members in divorce and other family law matters. As an attorney known for his expertise in his field, Mr. Lusk regularly conducts legal seminars and acts as a television legal analyst on divorce and family law topics.
Mr. Lusk brings a wealth of in-court trial experience, having handled thousands of divorce and family law cases for over 20 years. In addition to high asset contested divorce actions, Mr. Lusk handles a variety of other family law matters, including uncontested divorce, mediation, child custody, child support, alimony modification, and prenuptial and postnuptial agreements.
A 1991 graduate of Randolph School in Huntsville, Mr. Lusk graduated magna cum laude from Hampden-Sydney College in 1995 and from the University of Alabama School of Law in 1999. Upon passing the bar examination in 1999, Mr. Lusk became a 4th generation attorney with Lusk & Lusk, following his great grandfather (John A. Lusk), his grandfather (Marion F. Lusk), and his father (Louis Lusk, Sr.), respectively. He became a partner of Lusk & Lusk in 2001 and is now the firm’s managing partner.
